Stranger from hell (2019)

A thriller drama following a young man who moves from the countryside to Seoul, experiencing bizarre and unsettling events at his gosiwon (budget dormitory).

Integrated marketing campaign for OCN's psychological thriller set in a claustrophobic gosiwon (Korean boarding house). Led brand identity, promotional videos, and key art development to establish the show's suffocating atmosphere and everyday horror aesthetic.

OCN is South Korea's premium genre drama channel, known for high-quality crime and thriller series—comparable to FX or AMC in North America.

CLAUSTROPHOBIC SPACE

Established the gosiwon as a uniquely Korean horror setting through close-ups of narrow corridors and closed doors with a dark, desaturated color palette to visualize suffocation and surveillance

EVERYDAY HORROR SOUNDSCAPE

Enhanced immersion with familiar yet unsettling sound effects—creaking corridors, wall knocking, and ambient room noise—to create a sense of inescapable dread

Devil’s ID

A first-person corridor walk progressively reveals neighbors who seem normal but are subtly unsettling. Their final collective stare into the camera establishes moving into this gosiwon as entering an inescapable hell.
